“Chalo Indira Park” Protest on September 5 Over Pending RTC Employees Dues

A protest titled “Hello RTC – Chalo Indira Park” will be held at Indira Park in Hyderabad on Saturday, September 5, demanding the release of pending dues of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) employees.

The protest is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM and is being organised by the Bahujana Workers Union (BWU), affiliated with the Telangana Rajyadhikara Party (TRP).

The programme will be presided over by Teen Maar Mallanna, MLC and President of TRP. Amjed Ullah Khan, MBT spokesperson, and Sajid Mohammed, BWU State President, are also expected to address the gathering.

The organisers have appealed to RTC employees, including those currently in service, to participate in large numbers and raise their concerns over pending payments and other long standing issues.

The protestors are expected to urge the Telangana Government and RTC management to release the pending dues and take steps to address the grievances of employees without further delay.

The BWU has called on RTC workers to join the programme and support the demands.
