In the video, the girl, identified in several reports as 15 year old Ruchika Singh, alleges that the controversy has made her life extremely difficult. She claims she has faced harassment and says, “You have made my life hell.”
The teenager had earlier apologised for her remarks after a video from a Jantar Mantar protest went viral. The incident attracted widespread political and social media attention.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also spoken about forgiveness following the controversy.
