11th International Day of Yoga Celebrated by India Post

The Department of Posts marked the 11th International Day of Yoga 2025 with great enthusiasm at Meghdoot Bhawan, the office of the Chief Postmaster General, Delhi. Aligning with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the event emphasized wellness and mindfulness among postal staff.

Senior officials, employees, and staff participated in the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP), practicing asanas, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques to promote holistic well-being.

To commemorate the occasion, the Department released 7 Picture Postcards and Surya Namaskar-themed keychains, celebrating India’s cultural and spiritual heritage through philately.

In a nationwide effort, all postal circles observed the day with similar events, reinforcing yoga’s role in promoting health, unity, and resilience. Hon’ble Minister Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia also extended his greetings on the occasion, highlighting yoga as a path to a balanced lifestyle.
